Odio ("the app") helps musicians find and book music studios in Egypt. This policy explains what data the app collects, why, and how to remove it. Contact: support@odioeg.app
| Data | Why | Where it lives |
|---|---|---|
| Name, email, phone number | Your account and profile; shown to a studio when you book or message them | Supabase (our database provider) |
| Bookings (studio, room, date, hours, price) | Operating the booking service; shared with the studio you booked | Supabase |
| Chat messages, voice notes, and images | Delivering your conversation with a studio | Supabase (voice notes and images in private storage, accessible only to the two participants) |
| Device push token | Sending booking updates and message notifications | Supabase + Firebase Cloud Messaging |
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos library, advertising identifiers, or any payment card details. Payments are arranged directly between you and the studio (e.g. via InstaPay); the app never processes money.
Booking details and your name/phone/email are shared with the studio you book, so they can confirm your session and contact you. Chat content is visible only to you and the studio you're talking to. We use Supabase (database, auth, storage) and Google Firebase (push notifications) as processors. We do not sell data or share it with advertisers.
All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Database access is enforced per-account with row-level security: customers see only their own bookings and conversations; studios see only their own.
Your data is kept while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete account). This permanently removes your profile, chats, voice notes' and images' access, and device tokens; past bookings remain in the studio's records without your identity attached. You can also request deletion by emailing the contact above.
Odio is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
We'll update this page when the policy changes; significant changes will be announced in the app.
